theBigGive.org.uk raises £180k for Pakistan

The Big Give Pakistan Emergency Fund has raised £180,000 by doubling online donations to the Pakistan emergency appeals.

Reed's offer to match £50,000 of online donations was fulfilled in under a week.  When combined with the other funders, this resulted in a total of 700 individual donations being matched.

This raised an overall total of £180,000 for the participating charities: Oxfam, Christian Aid, Disasters Emergency Committee, ActionAid, British Red Cross and Merlin
