We are extremely proud that we were the first recruitment company in the UK to become CarbonNeutral®.  Since 2005 we have calculated and offset our emissions through a variety of projects, we are currently supporting a heat recovery project in India.  This scheme captures waste heat from a steel plant and uses it to power turbines which generate electricity, resulting in a saving of 4,319 tCO2.  This electricity is used on-site at the steel plant, with any extra supplied to the local grid.  The project helps to reduce the resource intensity of the factory and stabilises the electricity supply to the area.  The work required to operate the machinery also provides 50 additional jobs for local people.
